The Columbus Airman & Family Readiness Center can help you navigate through this process! Transition Goals, Plans, Success (Transition GPS) is the Department of Defense’s transition program – redesigned to ensure that Service members are better prepared to transition from military to civilian life. We will guide you through the entire process of meeting all your Career Readiness Standards to ensure a smooth transition and successful career following separation from the Military.

1st Step-Pre-separation counseling

2nd Step-Transition Goals, Plans, Success Workshop (5-DAY WORKSHOP)

3rd Step-VA Benefits

4th Step-Capstone, DD Form 2958

***All of the above MANDATORY items should be completed 90-150 days prior to your separation date. Service members can begin the transition process up to two-years if retiring and up to one-year if separating. Please call 662-434-2839/2631 to register. ***

The Hearts Apart Social program is a monthly event to provide community bonding, fun and appreciation for the families of active duty personnel who are deployed, remote, or on an extended TDY. Food and activities are provided.
