Alpha Warrior Tent
The Columbus AFB Alpha Warrior tent offers a unique extreme training and workout experience for those who are into the ultimate fitness challenge.
Archery Range
The Archery Range is located at the Northwest end of the runway off 373 (also known as Perimeter Road). Call Outdoor Rec for use instructions at 662-434-2505.
Basketball Courts (outdoor)
The outdoor basketball courts are located across the street from The Commons (Coffee House) on Harris Street between the Freedom Park and the Alpha Warrior Tent. Basketballs can be obtained from the Fitness Center.
Blaze Fit Trail
The Blaze Fit Trails are winding 2 mile path that stretches from one end to the other of the old golf course (now Venture 360) location. There are several workout stations along the route.
Disc Golf
Columbus AFB Disc Golf course, AKA, Crosswinds DGC, is a fun and challenging course located at the Venture 360 activity center. The area, located across from Capital Village housing, is on the site of the old golf course. Be sure to download the UDisc App for a detailed map with distances, par information, score cards, and much more!
Dog Park
Columbus AFB has a new dog park located in the area between State Loop and Independence Drive.
Fitness Center
The Columbus AFB Fitness Center offers an array of fitness options such as top of the line workout equipment, aerobics classes, intramural sports, monthly Fun Runs, and other special events that promote fitness. It houses cardio equipment, two rooms of selectorized weight machines, a free-weight room, spin room, aerobics room, 2-racquetball courts and a full size basketball court.
Football / Soccer Field
Used for flag football, soccer, and other intramural sports. It is located on Pryor Street and Alva Temple Road between building 205 and 216.
Freedom Park / Running Track
Freedom Park, located across the street from the Fitness Center, features an oval running track with padded surface. There are also workout apparatus for pullups and stretching.
Paintball Course
The paintball course is located in a large, wooded field behind Outdoor Recreation. It is the perfect location for a weekend outing with friends, birthdays, bachelor parties, or squadron outings. Private games available. Walk-on play available during Outdoor Recreation normal hours of operation and a complete selection of paintball equipment available for rent. Magnolia Riding Stables
The Magnolia Riding Club is located in a wooded, serene setting off Perimeter Road, surrounded by wildlife for all to enjoy. There are many acres surrounding the stables with peaceful lakes and tranquil trails to enjoy hours of riding. The stables offer a full range of horse boarding opportunities.
SAC Lake Picnic Area and Nature Trails
The SAC Lake recreation area is located at the Northwest end of the SAC ramp (hence the name). The amenities include bathrooms, covered picnic areas, grills (by the water and the picnic areas), fishing catch and release only (Do not eat the fish or drink the water!), various nature trails around the lake, and camping area.

Softball Fields
There are 2-softball fields located between Simler and Harris Streets. Intramural softball sign-up is in late April and the season is from May-June. Many squadrons and groups have teams. Contact the Fitness Center for more information.
Skeet / Trap Range
The Skeet/Trap range is available for practice shooting, family outing, a day of fun with your friends, and tournaments. It is managed by ODR and is located at the Northwest end of the runway off 373 also known as Perimeter Road. Call Outdoor Rec for use instructions at 662-434-2505.
Swimming / Independence Pool
The CAFB Swimming Pool is seasonally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Check out the lap and open swim times as well as pricing on the pool's web page.
Tennis Courts
The tennis courts are located across the street from The Commons (Coffee House) on Harris Street next door to the Alpha Warrior Tent.
Venture 360 Outdoor Activity Center
